Description
Camille Pissarro, Snowy Landscape at Eragny, 1895 Part of the Fitzwilliam Museum’s impressive collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art, Pissarro’s etherel landscape expressively conveys the crisp, clean air of winter, and makes the perfect seasonal image. Pissarro moved to the French village of Eragny in 1884 with the help of a loan from friend and fellow artist Claude Monet, and the landscape around the village provided him with many wonderful subjects for his paintings.
